    A general Fortran question

    4. In Ubuntu 7.10, when i plugged in my external hard-drive, i have a pop-up icon on my desktop that allowed me to browse the folders in it...with Ubuntu 8.04, i don't see anything.

    Yes, I've done that, and in the synaptic manager, when i go to the installed programs, it shows sun-java6-bin, sun-java6-jdk, sun-java6-jre and sun-java6-plugin...any idea ?
