yeah... as far as I can tell, the Atom 330 should suit my needs nicely
See the Newegg wishlist here
I'm planning out a new server that will act as a personal web and file server. The hardware is in the Newegg wishlist above. It consists of a dual core 1.6GHz Atom,...
Thanks.
I'll look into using LVM, but at the moment, I'm only really planning on having a single / partition, unless someone wants to convince me otherwise. But it sounds like the dual core...
Anyone here using software raid on Ubuntu Server? I'm considering using software RAID1 on an Intel Atom 330 (Dual Core 1.6GHz) and want to get an idea of how well it'll work.
I listen to Last.fm. It's especially nice right after a reformat before I've moved all my music over, as it's tailored to your tastes.
Contemplating adding an X61t to my collection...

Backlit keys in a slim, laptop-like keyboard make me happy
cool, though I still hope they get the repo working so i don't have to manually grab upgrades
The amd64 builds are still failing to build :(
I'm guessing he'll need a PCI card...

that's the only downside to the time I spend out in california, Comcast is the only Cable/ISP I can get for short term periods (FiOS requires a 1 year contract).
They pulled something...
21, and everything... I even use it at work as my primary OS
I use memorex as well... way back in the day, however, I bought a 100 pack of CompUSA brand CD-R's for $10 (this was when $0.50 - $1.00 was a standard price per disc) So, they seemed like a steal...
I'd suggest a Geforce 8800GT (I upgraded to one from a Geforce 6600GT)
It's a great card for the money, and it's not a giant brick, either.
I'll be seeding all day, last time I got a seed ratio of 10 on a Hardy torrent before my ISP reset my internet. :D
I know how you feel. Sophomore year in college, the floor drunk brought a live squirrel into the dorms and it got loose in my room.
